The African Foundation for Personal Growth and
Professional Development is dedicated to developing, evaluating and
disseminating programs and activities that foster young people’s moral, social
and intellectual development. While nurturing young people’s ability to
think critically and skillfully, AFRIPAD, Inc strives to intensify youths’
commitment to personal responsibility, gender equality and the respect for
others – qualities we believe are essential to leading productive lives and
creating a better continent.
The vision of AFRIPAD is to be the organization of choice in Africa providing technical assistance and capacity building for individuals, businesses, and non profit organizations in the areas of self improvement, leadership development . To this end, AFRIPAD seeks to achieve greater productivity in Africa by conducting seminars, workshops and other trainings that foster mind, body and soul development.
AFRIPAD was founded on January 18th 2008, and formally incorporated under Liberian laws on March 13th, 2008, and is an organization that seeks to help the people of Africa (especially the youths) change the way they think. It is about bringing up a new generation of leaders in Africa who will take the continent to a new level of existence. This organization envisions a continent where people "look at the glass half full rather than half empty";a continent where people realize that they can be whatever they desire to be.
Time and again, we've learned that we as humans attract what we think about most of the time. If this is true, then why is it that all the world is focused on Poverty Reduction Strategies, instead of focusing on Wealth Creation Plans? Why are we focused on Disease Prevention when we ought to be focusing on Health Preservation?
AFRIPAD is geared towards bringing our minds to where they need to be - on what we want rather than what we do not want. It is only when we start thinking of the things we want, will we start attracting those things that we want.
